An automatic transport vehicle is a transport vehicle equipped with an automatic guiding device that can travel along a prescribed path, and also has a programming and parking selection device, a safety protection device, and various material transfer functions on the vehicle body. AGV is the abbreviation of Automated Guided Vehicle. Refers to a transport vehicle equipped with electromagnetic or optical automatic guidance devices that can travel along a prescribed guidance path, with safety protection and various transfer functions. AGV is a wheeled mobile robot, which can be divided into different guidance methods. :


1. Fixed path guidance, including electromagnetic guidance, light guidance and magnetic tape (magnetic) guidance.


2. Free path guidance, including laser guidance, inertial guidance, etc.


According to the different ways of AGV loading and unloading materials, it can be divided into:


Hopper type, roller conveyor type, chain conveyor type, vertical lift type, forklift type.
