What are the differences between automated warehouse and ordinary warehouse?

The difference between the automated warehouse and the ordinary warehouse lies in the automation and intellectualization of warehousing.

Ordinary warehouse is the goods on the ground, or put on the ordinary shelf (usually less than 7 meters), by forklift manual warehousing.

The goods in the stereoscopic warehouse are placed on the high shelf (usually less than 22 meters), and under the control of software, the lifting equipment will automatically put them in and out of the warehouse. The advantages of automated warehouse include:

1. Unmanned: the seamless connection of various handling machinery can realize the unmanned operation of the whole warehouse, so as to reduce the labor cost and avoid the hidden danger of personnel safety and the risk of goods damage.

2. Informatization: information identification technology and supporting software can realize the internal information management of the warehouse, which can grasp the dynamic storage and realize rapid scheduling.

3. Intensive storage: the storage height can reach more than 20m, the roadway and cargo space are almost the same width, and the high-level intensive storage mode greatly improves the land utilization rate.

4. High speed: the delivery speed of each roadway is more than 50 Torr / h, much higher than that of forklift, ensuring the delivery speed of warehouse.

5. Seamless connection: it can connect with upstream automatic production system and downstream distribution system to improve the breadth and depth of enterprise supply chain automation.

In a word, it is to save land, reduce labor and improve the level of logistics management.
