Wall support columns will affect the warehouse shelf layout, and the more warehouse support columns, the more difficult the layout. So, how to choose warehouse shelf layout when encountering wall support columns? Which shelf layout scheme is appropriate? How to set the relative relationship among the positions of the support column, shelf and aisle?
Three ways to deal with warehouse shelf layout encountering wall support columns:
1. Place the support column in the middle of the two sets of shelves arranged back to back. This kind of plan is relatively ideal. The pillars neither hinder the staff from accessing the goods in the passage, nor reduce the storage capacity in the shelves, but this kind of plan has the biggest shortcoming, it will waste a certain amount of warehouse space and products. The storage capacity will decrease and the utilization rate of the warehouse will decrease.
2. Place the support column in the channel of the shelf. This layout plan should be the least ideal, but when there are many rows of warehouse columns, this plan is inevitable. This requires that the relative distance between the columns and the shelves should be increased as much as possible to ensure the warehouse storage capacity. As well as the efficiency of the staff, many users are suitable for this form.
3. Place the support column on the side of the shelf or in the middle of two sets of shelves arranged in parallel.
This scheme is relatively reasonable. It only reduces a small part of the storage volume and has no effect on the work efficiency of the entire warehouse staff!
All applications of warehouse design are based on data. Without data, there is no way to design. Blind design may lead to decision errors and cause significant economic losses. Therefore, when doing the overall warehouse design, the first task is to get the basic data of the warehouse design, and the second is to use the rich practical experience and level to design the concrete.
